一、二年級：麵人（麵粉公仔）工作坊

小一、小二同學學習「麵粉公仔」這項有趣的民間手藝。導師示範如何把普通麵粉變成色彩繽紛的小公仔，例如孫悟空、小動物等。孩子一邊搓揉造型，一邊學習相關的普通話詞彙，在歡樂中感受傳統工藝的魅力。

P 1 & P 2: Dough Figurine Workshop

P1 and P2 students learnt the delightful folk art of "dough figurines" (flour dolls). The instructor demonstrated how ordinary flour can be transformed into colourful little figures, such as Sun Wukong (the Monkey King) or small animals. As they knead and shape the dough, the children also learnt relevant Putonghua vocabulary, experiencing the charm of traditional crafts in a joyful atmosphere.

三年級：造紙術工作坊

三年級同學化身「小小蔡倫」，體驗中國四大發明之一——造紙術。導師用普通話講解古人如何用樹皮、麻頭等材料造紙，學生再親手製作一張屬於自己的再造紙。過程中既學習普通話聆聽與表達，亦體會中國人對知識傳播的偉大貢獻。

P3: Papermaking Workshop

P3 students became "little Cai Lun" and experienced one of China's four great inventions – papermaking. The instructor explained in Putonghua how ancient people used materials like tree bark and hemp to make paper. Then, students made a piece of handmade paper themselves. Through this process, they practised listening and speaking in Putonghua while appreciating the great contribution of the Chinese people to the spread of knowledge.

四年級：印刷術工作坊

印刷術是中國另一項影響世界的發明。四年級學生在工作坊中認識雕版印刷術，並親身體驗利用此技術印刷文字或圖畫。透過手作與普通話的結合，讓學生珍惜文字與書籍得來不易的價值。

P4: Printing Workshop

Printing technique is another Chinese invention that changed the world. In this workshop,  students learned about woodblock printing  and gained hands-on experience printing text or images by using this technique. By combining hands‑on work with Putonghua, students will come to value the hard‑won significance of writing and books.

五年級：中國木橋工作坊

中國木拱橋不用一釘一鐵，全靠榫卯結構承重，展現古人超凡的建築智慧。五年級學生導師指導下，用小木條搭建一座微型木橋，並進行承重測試。同學需聽懂普通話步驟，互相協作，從中學習堅毅、團結與對古代工匠的敬意。

P 5: Chinese Wooden Bridge Workshop

Chinese wooden arch bridges use no nails or iron; they rely entirely on mortise‑and‑tenon structures to bear weight, demonstrating the extraordinary architectural wisdom of ancient people. Under the instructor's guidance, P5 students built a miniature wooden bridge from small wooden strips and then carried out a load‑bearing test. Students needed to follow Putonghua instructions and work together, learning perseverance, unity, and respect for ancient craftsmen.

六年級：中國皮影工作坊

皮影戲被稱為「最早的動畫」。六年級同學先了解皮影的歷史與製作方法，然後親手繪製、剪裁皮影角色，最後分組用普通話演出簡短故事。這項活動融合手工、戲劇與語言，讓學生在笑聲中傳承中國非物質文化遺產。

P6: Chinese Shadow Puppetry Workshop

Shadow puppetry is known as "the earliest animation". P6 students first learnt about the history and production methods of shadow puppets, then drew and cut out their own puppet characters, and finally performed a short story in Putonghua in groups. This activity integrates crafts, drama, and language, allowing students to pass on China's intangible cultural heritage with laughter.

為了讓同學們在輕鬆、有趣的氛圍中提升普通話能力，本校於本年課外活動時段增設了「普通話活動」。

To help students improve their Putonghua skills in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, our school has added "Putonghua Activities" to this year’s extracurricular activity sessions.

活動包括以下三種形式：

The activities include the following three forms:

一.攤位遊戲學拼音與對話

通過精心設計的攤位遊戲，學生在玩樂中學習拼音，包括認讀與拼寫、聆聽與理解普通話對話，以及嘗試用普通話與人進行簡單交流。遊戲形式多樣，鼓勵學生在互動中運用普通話。

1.Learning Pinyin and Dialogue through Booth Games

Through designed booth games, students learn pinyin while playing, including recognising and spelling pinyin, listening to and understanding Putonghua dialogues, and trying to conduct simple conversations in Putonghua. The games come in various forms, encouraging students to use Putonghua in interactive settings.

二.軟件輔助拼音學習

利用網上學習平台，幫助學生有系統地掌握聲母、韻母及聲調。通過視覺與聽覺結合的方式強化記憶，鼓勵自主學習，提升學習效率。

2.Software-Assisted Pinyin Learning

Online learning platforms are used to help students systematically master initials, finals, and tones. The combination of visual and auditory elements reinforces memory, encourages independent learning, and improves learning efficiency.

三.與「悟空」機器人對話

學生與一台名叫「悟空」的智能機器人進行普通話對話：學生需用正確的發音與「悟空」交流。 「悟空」會按指令做出各種生動有趣的動作，解答學生的問題，閱讀圖書…… 這過程既鍛鍊了發音，也極大地激發了學生的興趣與參與熱情。

3.Conversations with the "Wukong" Robot

Students converse in Putonghua with an intelligent robot named "Wukong". They must use correct pronunciation to communicate with Wukong, who can then perform various lively and interesting actions, answer students' questions, read books, and more. This process not only trains pronunciation but also greatly stimulates students' interest and enthusiasm for participation.

農曆新年將至，普通話科在本月舉行了三次分級的「農曆新年食品寓意」活動，透過wordwall,扭蛋活動，讓同學認識傳統賀年美食，解讀背後的吉祥寓意。盼望每個同學迎新歲，接福氣，認識節慶文化的精髓。 

As the Lunar New Year approaches, the Mandarin Department held three graded "Symbolic Meanings of Lunar New Year Foods" activities this month. Through Wordwall and gacha capsule activities, students learned about traditional festive foods and interpreted their auspicious meanings. We hope every student welcomes the new year, receives good fortune, and understands the essence of festive culture. 

為了加強學生對學習普通話的興趣及讓他們認識農曆新年的習俗，本校於一月二十四日下午進行了普通話活動。學生當日透過唱歌、看影片和做遊戲，投入普通話語境，積極學習，樂在其中！

To enhance students' interest in learning Putonghua and to introduce them to the customs of the Lunar New Year, our school organized a Putonghua activity on the afternoon of 24th January. On that day, students sang songs, watched videos, and played games, fully immersing themselves in a Putonghua-speaking environment. They actively participated in their learning and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
