Support for SEN
A whole-school approach is adopted to support pupils with special educational needs through the establishment of a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and support teachers (SENST). The school utilizes the Learning Support Grant to employ teaching assistants who provide extra in-class support. Additionally, the school offers social skills and study skills training groups to students with special educational needs. An Enhanced School-based Speech Therapy Service is provided for students with speech and language impairment. A school-based educational psychologist visits regularly to provide expertise to teachers, students, and parents concerned, and to design Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students who need additional support.
