Space Town Cake Making Activity

The differentiated school-based literacy programme implemented in P1 makes great use of life-wide learning opportunities in order to help foster the whole-person development of our learners. A great example of this can be found in the third P1 unit, Grandma and the Birthday Cake, where learners bake and decorate cakes as a class in order to help scaffold writing activities. Students loved this engaging activity, and felt a great sense of achievement when they got to eat their cooking!
